Born and raised in Philadelphia, Graduate of Northeast High school and the Philadelphia Restaurant School in 1982, Eric moved to the Eastern shore of Maryland in 1983 and operated various restaurants before becoming the owner of the St. Michaels Crabhouse in 1994 (now the St. Michaels Crab & Steak House).

History
The building which house the St. Michaels Crab House dates back 1830s when it served as one of St. Michaels earliest oyster shucking sheds. Inspect the bar ceiling joists for authenticity. The patio bricks outside the St. Michaels Crab House were kilned in St. Michaels during the 1800s. it has been reported that the anchors in the landscaped area of the St. Michaels Crab House patio moored the ships of old that sailed the Chesapeake Bay waters. Feel free to visit our bar and patio and meet the numerous waterman, artist entertainers, townsfolk and politicians who visit the area.
